1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StackHost ("Service") at stackhost.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
StackHost provides cloud hosting services for web applications built with Node.js, Python, Go, and other supported languages. Our Service includes application deployment, database hosting (PandaDB), and related infrastructure management.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
- One free app (512MB RAM) is provided per account without credit card requirement
- You may not use the Service for any illegal purposes
4. Free and Paid Plans
Free Plan
Every user receives one free application with 512MB RAM. No credit card is required to sign up.
Paid Plans
- 2GB RAM - EUR 1.30/month
- 4GB RAM - EUR 2.50/month
- 8GB RAM - EUR 5.00/month
Payments are processed through Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit/debit cards.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Host malware, phishing sites, or other malicious content
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Mine cryptocurrency
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Conduct DDoS attacks or other network abuse
- Store or distribute illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime beyond our reasonable control.
7. Data and Backups
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While we implement reasonable backup procedures, we are not responsible for data loss. Your code and data remain your property.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your applications and data will be deleted after a 30-day grace period.
9. Limitation of Liability
StackHost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
